Greetings! My name is Erik Skov, I am a student in men’s tailoring.
My tailoring journey started in the summer of 2022, where I began sewing traditional men’s clothing at home. By the winter of 2022, I had decided it was time for a change in course, and I decided to pratice tailoring further. Every day, I practiced, and soon I was accepted into the last tailoring school in Denmark.
I am now on my third year in tailoring, where I practice historical and traditional men’s tailoring under the guiding hand of Mr. Jakob Bay-Fyhr. Most of my methods are developed by using my knowledge from Mr. Jakob, my internship at Mr. Peter Undén and my internship at Mr. Daisuke Kunieda. In regards to pattern drafting, I formerly used the Kaj Skrædder system, developed by former head of EUC Syd Tailoring, Mr. Kaj, however I now you the Kunieda system, a further development of the Kinn system.

While my primary experience and production is focused on men’s tailoring, I am preparing to expand into women’s suits too, with a side focus on dresses and more every-day clothing.
